World Book Day 2020
P5/6 had an enjoyable day sharing and discussing favourite characters, books and authors.
Scholastic Book Fair
We look forward to seeing you all at parents evening over the next few days. The Scholastic Book Fair will be on display in the hall and you may order books then if you wish. Please send correct money in an envelope labelled with your child’s name and class by Friday. Alternatively, your child can visit the Book Fair on Thursday as part of World Book Day and can order and pay for items then. We will send the order off on Friday and you should get your books by the end of next week. Thanks to your generosity last year we were able to update our non fiction core reading resources with new titles for the children to enjoy. This year we will be updating the infant reading resources. Thank you for your support!
Friday Fun!
We had a busy Friday today! P6 brightened up our classroom by creating beautiful spring flower vases while P5 were taking part in Jammin’ Fitness with Andy.

Ceilidh at the Care Centre
We had a super ceilidh at the Care Centre yesterday. We went down to share some of our songs related to our topic of ‘The Jacobites’ as well as playing percussion instruments, the accordion, keyboard and chanter! Our fantastic set of drummers made sure we kept in time to the beat! Fantastic job everyone!
Woohoo for the wall bars!
P5/6 have been exploring, creating and improving their gymnastic skills! It is always an exciting time when the wall bars come out. We have all used the ropes, bar and ladder. We have also worked on movement sequences with our partner. Miss MacDonald was very impressed with our creativity and bravery!
P5 Please bring your P.E kit on Friday
P5 pupils please bring your P.E kit tomorrow (Friday) for a workshop in the hall.
Sphero Rovers
We designed and coded Sphero Rovers as part of our Mission to Mars in Science.

Feis Rois
We had a great session of Feis Rois this week. We have all worked hard to learn the songs & are now adding percussion instruments too. For our last session, we are going to have a wee performance and singalong down at Glenurquhart Care Centre.
